Description
The company originally started in 1952 as Chilliwack Delivery and Bottle Depot. A one cube van operation with a drape for a back door and a depot for cashing in empty beer and pop bottles. The van was not used for furniture but for parcels and letters.
In 1976 the agency was purchased and opened as Chilliwack Delivery, Moving & Storage as a North American agency until 1986 when they changed their affiliation to United Van Lines and in 1991 sold to Allan Bustin. Allan’s family, who settled in the Fraser Valley in 1889, had now expanded the family business to include furniture moving and storage. Allan had also taken over Vallis Moving (Swedish for valley) in Abbotsford and moved the business into a brand new building on Wheel Avenue in 1998. This complex is very progressive boasting individual mini-storage and a full government approved storage facility.
Still owned and operated by the Bustin family. Three generations in the transportation business servicing the Fraser Valley for over 75 years.
